3 Bedroom Cottage in St. Albans, Georgia

Impeccably maintained cottage with a cozy, but open floor plan that sits on large plot of land that is perfect for campfires, lawn games and BBQs. It can sleep 6 comfortably (3 bedrooms that sleep 5 with an additional day bed in the den). There are many windows to allow natural light and there is a large wraparound deck that is partially shaded by pine trees and has a grill, deck chairs and an umbrella table and chairs for outdoor meals. We also have a garage that allows for storage of bikes, etc. The rental includes access to a sandy beach, a quick 2 minute walk away, as well as 2 Kayaks for your use.
We are only 10 minutes from St. Albans, Vermont with a great downtown and restaurants as well as a golf course. The Sports Complex in town has tennis and pickleball courts, a playground and fitness center. Hard'ack Recreation Area hosts hiking trails, disc golf and a public swimming pool.
The location is convenient to Burlington, Stowe and Montreal. It is also within just a few miles of town and state parks that are on Lake Champlain.

The cottage is located in a quiet but friendly community of 20 cottages called The Pines where most of the owners are second or 3rd generation owners. Our property is adjacent to common land that includes a volleyball court and softball field. This is a hidden gem, perfect for disconnecting from everyday life and spending quality time with family and friends. Located on a private dirt road with little traffic making it an ideal spot for children. We ask all guests to be respectful of the property and the neighbors during their stay.
This property has been in our family and we have spent summers here for 70 years. Several years ago we purchased a second cottage in the Pines and live there. As a result we are very close by if there are questions or issues.

Summary: I loved this place as soon as I walked in. It is so comfortable inside and out, with wonderful outside space. The large outside deck is enjoyable to relax and eat meals. Everything you could want for a memorable getaway is here.

Summary: This cottage was exactly as depicted on the website. It was clean, cozy and only one property away from Lake Champlain. You could tell that the home had been lovingly cared for by its owners. Owners were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure staying here.

Summary: We loved this cottage! It’s super cozy, quiet, comfortable, and even cuter than the pictures. We loved the antique touches, old wood floors, comfy chairs and such. The giant deck, abundance of windows, and ample sitting areas made it welcoming and relaxing inside and out, rain or shine. We were almost sad to go sightseeing, we just wanted to stay at the cottage and enjoy it. The hosts made our arrival special and welcoming with a lovely framed welcome sign and bottle of wine. They have a very in-depth and thoughtful guest binder with helpful info on just about anything you need to know about the area. The cottage is nicely stocked with dishes, cookware, towels, washer and dryer and many other useful extras. We were so busy and it was cool and rainy that we didn’t even get to utilize the kayaks or hang at the beach just a short jaunt away. I can only imagine the pleasure of a longer stay with perfect weather. Thanks for the stay!

Summary: As you drive down the narrow tree lined road to the camp your first impression is “where am I going?” Quickly you realize you’ve been lucky enough to find a very special place. The camp has everything you need and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The view of the bay is gorgeous. We spoke with Joanne a couple of times and we enjoyed listening to the history of The Pines and we truly appreciated her suggestions of things to do and places to see. It is definitely a hidden gem and we are so glad we got to experience The Pines.

Summary: Great location, quiet, pretty, tucked in the woods, walk to lake, everyone so friendly. Comfy and well stocked with all you’ll need. Good central location, did everything Vermont: Shelburne cheese, maple syrup, vineyards, Ben and Jerry’s, Von Trappe place, smugglers Notch, lake cruise, Teddy bear factory, etc. We are older, don’t hike but so many places, wish we could have. Highly recommend.

Summary: This warm and welcoming cottage was set in a remote area surround by a wooded area and a short walking distance to the tranquil waters.
